      Real positive change is being made from engagement surveys. Staff are great. Lots of social events.

      Exec team can feel like they aren't working towards the same goals. Company is at the mercy of the regulator.

      - hard to get weekday shifts as they prioritise older staff - new starters can get lumped with the ‘bad’ jobs for a long time

      - Very flexible, Australian Turf Club has an app where you can choose your shift, so perfect for uni students. - Offers free car parking. - One meal provided per shift. - Good casual rates. - Depending on what role you have been allocated you can keep cash tips.

      Cons

      - Very fast paced. - When working in the cooperate boxes on race day you often have to deal with drunk patrons. - You have to provide your own uniform (black tie, shirt and shoes, bottle opener).
