Pros

Pay is good, benefits are good. Office fridge always full of snacks. Generous health insurance. Many kind, smart co-workers.

Cons

Culture went to hell start of 2018. Politics from zero to mean girls to game of thrones. Company froze recruiting, all good candidates say no to AutoGravity. What happened? AutoGravity used to be amazing place to work. Felt like family. So much love. Everybody cared about mission, cared about each other, wanted to change world. When company grew 100 people, old CEO hired very bad new leaders. CEO left company. That day, CFO plus VPs had secret meeting to take power. Bad leaders spread lies about good leaders and people they don't like. Bad leaders write bad GlassDoor reviews to make company look bad. Hardest workers, best people, smart people already quit or quitting this month. Bad leaders dividing up whats left, making alliances to get more promotions. New CEO has no idea what is going on under his nose. New CEO too busy to see truth. His team is poison.

Pros

The galley of the HMS AutoGravity is filled with snacks. That's right! Can you believe it? Snacks! So if you're looking for a career where Red Bull and beef jerky are part of your compensation package, then AutoGravity is for you. But hurry, this is a sinking ship, and the benefits that will dwindle as company continues to take on water, debt, lose it's best employees and plan it's next cost-cutting move....

Cons

This titanic of a mess hit an iceberg long ago. It is simply one of the most poorly managed and underperforming enterprises in the automotive fintech industry. The captain at the helm and his Chief Counsel are working to fold the company while avoiding any litigious ramifications. They and the EM staff tell us at "huddles" that tkeep telling us that operations are full speed ahead -- but it's evidently clear that the executive team is preparing their own lifeboats while concealing the company's lack of seaworthiness to the board of directors, dealerships, lenders, OEMs and customers. The CEO stands at the bow of the HMS AutoGravity, his arms spread, exclaiming "I'm king of the world." But basically, he's just helping the ship sink gracefully and unnoticed to the the press; The nickname he has gained over the course of his career is the "The executioner" (seriously, and he has taken opportunities to tout his reputation); he not only has a track record of cutting workforce from companies, but he has a knack for making entire underperforming companies disappear. That's his job here. Company investors VW and Diamler need to see their millions of investment money appear well spent. So AutoGravity needs to maintain the appearance of "business as usual" long enough until it sinks unnoticed into the graveyard of failed dot-coms. Pets.com, meet AutoGravity.

Pros

Nice office Snacks and drinks Good pay, great benefits

Cons

Direction The management team is constantly introducing new directions for the company. We end up changing directions every couple of months so that in the end we've just gone in circles. This is a complete waste of time and money. The company needs to FOCUS on one plan. Spend The company is blowing through money much faster than any normal “start-up”. We spend a lot on marketing each month but don't have anything to show for it. SEO has been recent push, but AutoGravity still doesn't show up on the first two or three pages when you search “auto financing” on popular search engine sites. I'm not sure that anybody on the marketing team is fully aware of how we're spending money. Leadership Our leader is clearly unfit for his position. His weekly huddles inspire less and less confidence in his leadership abilities. He claims the new direction of the company was his own idea when in reality he wants to copy what other companies are already doing. He has implemented a few cutbacks (catered meals, people being let go) under the guise of trying to cut costs, all while rolling in to the office in his S560. It's quite clear that he is here to milk the company for everything he can get. Like other reviews have said, if you're looking for a steady paycheck and can live with a hostile work environment, go ahead and apply. Otherwise run in the other direction as quickly as you can.
