Pros

You get to choose your hours, you choose how many you'd like to work each day the week prior to working them. The owners of the company are friendly, coworkers also very friendly There's an opportunity to make a decent amount of money. They start at $12/hour but their highest paid appointment setter makes a little over $30/hour.

Cons

Unorganized, constantly calling on new clients, therefore having to practice and get comfortable with a new script (you call on a new client each day, however some clients are all with the same company so in that situation, you'd use the same script). You generally get raises when you set a decent amount of appointments. They recognize you on their weekly call if you're setting at least 1 appointment per hour. The thing is, you never know what client you're going to get. Some are much easier to set appointments for. For example, some clients want you to call people whose houses aren't for sale, but try and set an appointment so the client can buy their house and renovate it/rent it out. You can see why it'd be tough to set an appointment in this situation. I also had a client I was scheduling for, and was not informed that she was on vacation that week until I had already called and set appointments for her, for that week. This information would've been useful to know ahead of time. Some clients are very nice, but some are rude if you aren't able to get any appointments for them. Which like stated previously, is sometimes out of your control if I'm calling for a not so great client/service (ex. trying to get people to sell their houses when they aren't listed for sale). You're calling leads off of a google sheets list... this isn't a huge deal but for a company with so many clients, it'd be much more efficient to work out of some sort of software or database. It'd also be nice to at least call for just one company, that way you're not constantly having to memorize and practice new scripts each week. Training isn't paid. You're only paid for the hours spent calling. High turnover

Thank you for your review. Per the instructions you were given in your onboarding / orientation, your emails to clients (your RECAP of how a call session went) was supposed to be done during your call session so that you were billing the client for that and being paid for it. We are very clear, during onboarding, that you should not be doing anything outside of your billable time to ensure that you are being paid for all of the time that you work. Working independently, from home, we are taking you at your word that you are completing the work you are reporting. If it appears that you are reporting work which has not actually been done, KEY STROKES are a way for us to track wether or not you were actually working. If KEY STROKES became part of a conversation with you, this would mean that you did not appear to be working during the time which you were reporting to us. Please understand that we need to be able to ask about this if something doesn't look right. That being said, we always pay for the time that you report - even if it looks like you weren't working. If we feel that we've paid for work that you did not do, we will address keystrokes with you. If you do not have a reasonable explanation for why it appears you did not work, we will pay you for your time BUT we will no longer be able to schedule work for you because our clients take notice of this. It sounds like this role really wasn't the best fit for you because you were not following the instructions we clearly laid out AND were not working the time you had reported. We're sorry that this did not work out for you but hope you understand why we need to hold our contractors to the standard that they follow instruction and work when they're saying they did. If you believe you owed money for work that you reported to us, please email joes@automaticappointments.com and we will look into this. Best of luck to you moving forward!

Pros

I am able to work from home with my child. I work when I want to work, and I get paid weekly. The training is exceptional. The owners and staff are just amazing! They treat you like family and ALWAYS go out of their way to help you be successful. The money is great too! You decide what your pay is by what you put in. I am blessed and honestly do not plan to ever leave .

Cons

There are no cons. If I had one wish though, it would be to have benefits.
