      Pros

      - colleagues are really nice / good general vibes - easy to reach location - technology stack and projects are really interesting

      Cons

      - no salary structure - no options to improve personally or as a programmer - no clear way towards promotions etc. - performance reviews are based 70% on rumors, hearsay and how much they like you, and only 30% on facts - management is incredible dishonest and manipulative when they think you don't know better / will fall for it / they can get away with it

      Pros

      - broad spectrum of projects with modern technology stacks, you have freedom in your work and have full responsibility, learning new tech is welcomed and supported, room and time to grow personally - stellar work-life balance, relaxed work-from-home policy (as in "do as you like") - very good failure culture, approachable owners that actually care, listen to you AND take action, suggestions and ideas are welcomed and considered, open doors policy - awesome colleagues from different tech backgrounds, respectful social interactions, multiple annual social events - office with properly sized rooms (2-7 people), good (home-)office equipment, performant notebooks, OS of your choice (linux/win/mac), good displays, standing-desks, etc

      Cons

      - no real career paths - non-transparent salary policy - salaries and 27 days vacation are not really competitive - lack of mentoring
