Pros

Nothing anymore, Kurt retired and it all went down hill

Cons

Avid was a good place to work before covid. Once covid hit the company went down hill fast. Work/home life balance was no longer cared about. When the leadership roles shifted after one person retired the whole place went in a negative direction. Favoritism took over actual hard work...as long as you kiss butt it didn't matter if you actually did your job. Promotions went to those who management favored, even if they no call no show to work due to reasons that should shame the company. I would never recommend this company to anyone as an employer worth working for. They constantly lie about opportunity to move up and string you along for years. They will "coach" you to move up only to get you to do their work. In just 2 months they lost 4 supervisors, and a minimum of 4 top performing account managers.

Pros

They have a pretty casual work environment. Unless it's month-end, it's pretty stress free. They provide snacks and fruit for employees.

Cons

This company definitely does not "have an interest in people". The only interest they have shown is an interest in the bottom line. They offer zero in terms of career development. Having two people in charge is really tough to manage as an employee. It's not clear who is making decisions here ad causes chaos regularly. Management doesn't really seem to be all that interested in the company and is rarely available to employees. Decisions seem to be made without any input from employees and rarely with notice to employees.
