This company leaks Hipaa Data... After being hired and having some serious security concerns about leaking Hipaa data I was then replied with this: Thank you for going through our application and hiring process for the position of Senior IT Systems and Security Engineer at Avolve Software. After extensive evaluation, I am sorry to inform you that we have decided not to pursue with hiring you for this position. The hiring committee thanks you for the time you invested to apply for the position. Best wishes for a successful job search. Thank you, again, for your interest in our company.

It was an incredible team, until it wasn’t.

*Early Avolve team was the most positive influence on my career with forward thinkers, incredible mentors, and a strong team camaraderie. Can do attitudes! *Thriving software development *Early Avolve Execs took customer satisfaction and retention very seriously. And so, employees felt that sense of white-glove handling and communication as well. *Reimbursable remote office expenses for mobile and Internet *Collaborative teams, strategic thinkers

Cons

Everything was great for 7 years until it just wasn't...growing pains are one thing. Lack of Integrity is another: *Avolve (2019ish-2020ish)- Trailblazing CEO retires, new CEO shops for acquisition while hiring a CRO that created the most toxic environment and a deal was made 2021ish. That CEO retired at that time as well. Now the third and current CEO began hiring his friends and colleagues to take over C-level roles. Many existing employees treated unfairly and downright nasty. Original CEO would be so embarrassed to learn how his employees were inevitably mishandled. *CRO devastated credible employees reputations to new C-levels and suggested over promised and fictitious sales pipelines that sales people were required to agree to causing big frustrations on sales team -set up to fail *New C-levels do not take time to understand existing employees' strengths, rather made roles and performance feel inadequate *New C-levels offer unfair compensation to same type roles with similar experiences and they do not show interest to promote within *Overall uncertain environment for about 3 years, but last two were the most unsettling *New C-level's are unfamiliar with the SLG marketplace and customer front making it very frustrating for employees and future of customers *New C-levels could not provide comp plan commissions as promised, continued to give excuses why they could not pay those commissions….these were signed comp plans. We do the work, you are supposed to pay up. *No pay raises…ever. *Benefits are lacking which was a common complaint amongst the teams especially compared to the current hiring landscape. Expensive mediocre health insurance, no 401k match, no wellness stipend, no paid maternity/paternity, I heard they keep the employee number just low enough as to not abide by FMLA *Be prepared to work on your PTO days *Specifically to women applying here, come armored and definitely negotiate a higher compensation package initially because I guarantee you that you will be offered a lower rate than your male counterpart. *When you run into a snag operationally or personally, keep it to yourself. There has never been a Human Resources professional on staff in my time here, so keep your issues to yourself or leave.

Pros

Most dedicated team of Type A personalities that I have ever worked with at any company. Everyone is very customer oriented and goes above and beyond to help.

Cons

Sometimes the days can run long, however, PTO is provided to make up for them.
