      Pros

      - Projects were mostly at a Senior Engineer level - Engineer team was at a high level and worked very well together

      Cons

      - If projects are on hold or no available work, techs are responsibly for generating their own work to fill "unbooked" hours - If less then 40 hours are booked on weekly time sheet, techs are pulled into a meeting and made to justify why hours are not booked - Techs are treated as if their job related experience is beneath that of the management team - Creative billing practices used - If your willing to fall in line and not speak up or defend yourself technically, very smooth environment - Only looking for followers, leading is not encouraged - No clear training path provided or encouraged

      Pros

      The ability to learn and work on a variety of projects is awesome. You get to work with many projects with many clients and get exposure to many different development styles, processes, and, systems. The projects can range from bleeding edge technologies to legacy systems. The team at Avvenire is great, there are great developers on the team. Management works as hard as they can to be flexible with you. Instead of taking a whole vacation day for a doctors appointment, for example, you have the ability to leave early or come in late and make up the hours during the week. The culture is also pretty laid back and everyone is pretty easy going.

      Cons

      Infrequent but sometimes you have to work longer than normal hours, especially when projects go over budget. Would have preferred vacation days to be lumped into one PTO category rather than being segmented in sick, and vacation.

      There are none To give these lowlifes one star would be too much!

      Cons

      Principal owner is a tyrant, personally I believe he has some kind of imbalance that makes him totally unreasonable to work for. Has ZERO respect for employees and thats them as such. Withheld last pay for many employees who left.
