Pros

There were absolutely no pros with this company they management is job scared and back stabbing while the workers literally do not care about the product

Cons

You have to go thru a temp agency to get hired on because HR is too lazy to do it thier selves and good luck getting your paycheck from them

Pros

The facility is beautiful and state of the art.

Cons

I started with this company in the early days. I was sold a bad bill of goods. Axis Pipe and Tube is pipe manufacturing facility that is owned by a family in Mexico, who also owns a sister pipe company named Prolamsa. During the interview process I was sold on how great a manufacturing facility this would be (the facility is state of the art), acknowledging that yes they are owned by a foreign business family, but dedicated to doing business in America and following US business practices. How cool was this project, getting to start with a manufacturing facility from the ground up. They seemed to put significant effort in following through on that in the beginning, bringing in top notch talent from all over the country with industry experience. Over the last year they seem to have abandoned that practice and started removing these industry specialized US workers and transfer in more of their employees from their foreign corporate entities. My time in the beginning was great, the team I worked with cared about the project, and enjoyed working for the company, and once the changes started you could see the writing on the wall. It came to the point that more Spanish was being spoken in the office than English. If you could not speak Spanish, you felt like you were at a disadvantage. Lots of shady request were being made, and they threw safety and environmental out the window. Benefits for families and dependents were extremely expensive, and vacation plans were less than their other US facility. They are very stingy with their wages, after almost 3 years, I never received a raise, even after being in the top 5 highest performance reviews two years in a row. I actually convinced people I knew to pursue opportunities there and they were hired, by the time I left all I can do is apologize for convincing them to work there. The new HR department since the changes in September, does not take ownership, is shady and is untrustworthy. Of course hindsight is 20/20 but if I knew then, what I know now, I would not have wasted 2+ year on this project, nor would I wish this on my worst enemy.
