Be careful about this company in Granada

You have a beautiful city like Granada to visit. The office location is not in Granada, is in a town entrance surrounded by an industrial area with not easy transportation, the car will be needed You can make growth if you are tie to the right person

Cons

Classic boss, ex-military student style The company is sold as a modern one, but once you are in, you'll discover the opposite A weird atmosphere where it is more valuable pretending than doing High salaries if you can negotiate before join in. Significant differences between Junior and Senior roles In 2019, approximately 1-3 monthly people leaving the company between quitting and lay off. Not all of them are brave to comment on the real reason Lack of transparency between Germany/Spain, sometimes you got the impression that the speeches are different in each location

To be honest not so much expect personal discount benefits.

Cons

Managers and department heads have been instructing us to create fake job postings—not with the intent to hire, but simply to schedule interviews and fill up our calendars for the day or even the month. I felt genuinely uncomfortable about this practice, especially for the candidates who went through the entire hiring process, including technical interviews, without knowing that the roles they were applying for didn’t actually exist and we simply just ghosted them at the end.

Pleasant place to work

Pros

Remote work, with great colleagues from all over Spain and Europe, and a very solid, mature product and with lots of opportunities to work with new technologies.

Cons

Some friction around decision making, although this is more to do with the democratic nature of the dev process at Bestsecret. Working day flexibility is supported but meetings are a little 'hard' to work around
