Thanks for taking the time to leave us your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you felt uncomfortable in the field. This is a sales position, and sometimes may involve canvassing in residential neighborhoods. We take the safety of our employees very seriously and neighborhoods are chosen based on market research where residents are more likely to purchase products and services. We wouldn’t place our team in neighborhoods where there was no chance of conversion. That being said, it can involve getting outside your comfort zone, which is a good thing!
Field work is also part of training, which we do to get employees on track to be successful in sales and leadership. This benefits our employees and our clients alike. As with any sales job, it is a two-way street and people will get out what they put in. Sometimes this involves overcoming objections and moving through discouraging moments. We do understand that it's not for everyone.
I am glad to hear that the training was beneficial for you and that you gained sales and communication skills. I hope those skills carry you far in your professional career and beyond!
