Pros

-Good PTO policy -Lower level associates are all diverse and intelligent -Good downtown location -always vendor luncheons and free food!

Cons

-supervisors have no idea what they are doing across acounts, junior planners and planners run all accounts -Hiring is non-existent and staff is over worked and under paid -Complete disregard for personal life outside of office -If you value anything in your life other than your job no one will understand -management is afraid to push back on clients and fight for their employees

Pros

- "Some" genuinely good people.

Cons

- Supervisors/Directors/VP's. The previous positive comment amongst a sea of negative ones that stuck out like a major outlier is your typical higher-ups. They are the first to blame junior staffs which is ironic because junior staff basically does the most work. - Supportive Leadership? Nice joke. Directors and Supervisors could care less about you. Junior staff runs the accounts. Higher-ups makes horrible hires. Mostly based on bias decisions that are out of your control. Typical of any agency. - Work/Life Balance? Nonexistent. They are SLOW to hire anyone.

Pros

- Great benefits - Generous PTO policy - Coffee Bar in the office serves an assortment of beverages and breakfast/snack items.

Cons

-- Employees are overworked more than ever and moral is incredibly low, especially Mediabrands employees who are new to the BPN name. -- Work/Life balance can be difficult depending on the department. -- Pay rate is lower than most agencies. -- Poor communication, especially from an HR perspective. -- Culture has been non-existent since October which is terrible given new management's award winning culture at their original agency. The minimal efforts they have made have been phoned in. -- Restructure efforts were handled VERY poorly and the disorganization continues. Crucial and basic questions went unanswered for far too long, resulting in a mass scramble across departments and the problems persist. -- Poor communication and constant last minute decisions from IPG Mediabrands, results in zero execution time for anything related to Finance, Facilities, Administration and Human Resources. -- Human Resources is incompetent and blatantly disregards the "human" portion of the role. Gossipy, clueless, and/or nasty behavior has become a staple -- all characteristics which you do NOT want in an HR department.
