Horrible editors - I haven't worked with many. But the ones I did, were really horrible. They keep stressing on unnecessary details , making you go back and forth with the write-up for ages.

First - thanks for the feedback.
Yes, we do stress a lot about what some could consider "unnecessary details".
Of course, I personally see these as quite necessary, as so do our editors.
But, of course, I do understand how that might not be the best fit for every author. And, if we're not a good fit - that's absolutely fine.
What is an open question for me is - why would you go on to do multiple articles - if we're not a good fit? Wouldn't it make more sense to simply wrap up the engagement?

- Get credit or get paid
- Cool people to work with
- Work according to your schedule and at your own pace
