As it's a start up, a bit disorganised at times and getting much needed support when you're working with very challenging clients is difficult. Kind of felt like they wanted to hear about it but not too much. Sentiment seems to be that consulting is known to be tough so get on with what you do well, you're doing a good job, which isn't really support. The aspirations sound great but when you're out on client engagements what's happening back at base doesn't really matter all that much to your day to day experience.
