Pros

- Competitive salary, decent benefits - Less micromanaging than many other agencies - Most clients are interesting or high-profile - Owner has access to some exclusive clubs in LA

Cons

- Within the industry, this is not a competitive agency. There's a pretty big deficit in terms of talent and forward-thinking ideas - Generally disorganized as an agency - Some junior staff are unprofessional and get away with it. Many cannot take feedback without spiraling or retaliating - Owner interjects inappropriately in client meetings and unwarranted situations, which can be counter-productive and frustrating. For example, setting up ad-hoc external meetings without giving team members any context - Owner has verbally attacked various employees. She typically apologizes, but I would categorize it as abusive - Owner can be unprofessional in business situations, like being overbearing/rude to a potential client when we lost a new business meeting. I also found her to be flirty with a few men, which made me feel so gross to watch - Working with many poisonous, lazy, disingenuous freelancers

Pros

Working from home, leadership opportunities, interesting clients

Cons

Sometimes taking on new business proposals and/or new clients that don't make sense in our fields of expertise or because they have very low retainers
