Pros

Mostly cool people Great products Fast paced Laid back Owner is awesome

Cons

Favoritism Terrible brand decisions CEO treats it like high school Randomly let people go because they "can't afford" them, only to see them replaced a month later with a friend of management and with a higher salary. Horrible growth decisions

Pros

The product is great, and everyone on my team was amazing! Great health, time off and other paid benefits. I am giving three stars in the Senior Management section because most of the senior managers on the floor are fantastic. The CEO level management is not so great.

Cons

They have a false sense of culture. They tell everyone to be themselves, but do not promote individuality. They want everyone to think the same, and if you don't, you are told to change who you are or find a new job. Though they do have amazing benefits and PTO, they hold it over your head making sure you know how great they are for offering it. Long nights and weekends for some. Super unorganized. Constant last minute projects. Not worth the stress.

Pros

Working for Barebones has been the most expansive and exciting opportunity of my career, so far. It has allowed me to immerse myself in the areas of business that have always interested me and that will allow me to get to my professional goals quickly and with success. The culture is one of inclusion, empowerment, support, and continued growth. People who haven’t been successful here were people who weren’t comfortable in that culture and with a start up attitude. To fulfill the needs of the business you need to be willing to jump in and support one another when needed and display good work ethics. If you aren’t willing to do that, then you will not be happy here. The opportunities given to me through travel, serving my community, working with inspiring partners, and attending once in a lifetime events are only a few perks of working here. Not to mention the unbelievable health care, PTO, flexibility with my schedule as needed. This small company is like a family – I couldn’t imagine working any other place.

Cons

It depends on what kind of culture you thrive in. I do not have any cons to report.
