Pros

Meeting some fantastic people who deserve so much more.

Cons

Working under an utter shambles of a management team who make decisions on mental health and wellbeing whom have zero training on how to deal with it amongst many other things.

Pros

Zero they promise the world and a pretty paycheck

Cons

Guarded and unfriendly culture. After years in the industry I forced myself to make changes and continue. They let me go conveniently when I shared the sales strategy. No concerns in job review week before and was a totally unnecessary exit that felt like I had done something awful. But in reality I worked hard, increased sales pipeline by 800k and created a strong team. Funnily enough I had warnings from industry colleagues to run and I thought it was just them… but no they are absolutely disgusting. Beware of the directors charm and senior teams unfriendliness. Awful experience I wouldn’t wish upon my anyone, especially a single mom of three children on the day before her birthday!

Bullying from Supervisors

Recommend

Pros

The other reservations agents are lovely co-workers

Cons

There is a lot of workplace bullying at Barons Eden, coming from their supervisory team. This can include discrimination, additional pressure applied to individuals as they see fit, unfair dismissal, and general mistreatment. I have unfortunately seen a lot of people be mistreated and have been mistreated there myself. Apon raising this with senior management they made it clear that they had no regard for my wellbeing or for a resolution which led me to leaving the role. It was very difficult to leave as the other agents you work with are lovely. I wrote a letter to the board of directors following my employment here as I believe that their employees do not deserve to be treated this way, following this I was given an acknowledgement or this letter however I have heard from those currently working there that there has been no improvement and the treatment has only worsened. They may pay well but it's not worth it for what you will receive in return.
