Very much dependant on which part of the organisation you are in, I had no issues mysel. However, a good friend did have a challening time with a demanding manager, felt like they weren't offered any leniency when had some short term flare up of health issues.
Direct line and upper management unaware of best practice, capacity for workload or how to communicate across teams effectively. Very poor culture and low day to day morale. Lack of comms / capacity from management. High workload with unsuitable targets for teams to reach.
