      Great students, toxic work culture

      Pros

      The students are great, they are always eager to see you and you can really see the impact you are having on them, and the difference you can make and they make sure to let you know how much you are appreciated.

      Cons

      Low pay, toxic work environment, the higher ups often expect you to do more than your job description for no additional pay, high turnover, out of the 8 people that worked in my department when I started here, only 2 remain in the department

      Pros

      Small college. Many employees deeply care about the college mission. Many students make great gains in their self-esteem and academic progress.

      Cons

      Many secret alliances and deals going on behind closed doors. Women are typically paid an average of $5k less per year for equal positions. Hiring and firing practices are typically very unregulated.

      Pros

      Time off, interaction with people. Trying to get students to stay in the school.

      Cons

      Elitist dictatorship that favored their own friends and family. Didn't care enough about the type of students coming in. Students who had been there since before they were accredited still there to bring down students who come in and those who can succeed. Not enough for students to do while on downtime. Reviews are a joke since the president did not even witness the work being done.
