Decent pay, engaging work, complete lack of communication or appreciation from senior management
Pros
The pay is good considering there is no educational prerequisite. The work is engaging, provides high stimulation and requires a great deal of problem solving at peak times.
Cons
Almost no communication from senior management to staff No consideration given to inside promotion, admittedly few positions available that could be considered Acrimonious union/employer relationship - fault on both sides Reactionary work environment - there is very little proactive management occuring, great deal of scapegoating and blame passing Non-cohesive work environment - employees are at times pitted against each other in the office in competition for resources Employees are considered expendable, no appreciation or recognition Extremely poor oversight and quality control in the day to day operations of the office
