lack of communication, some management hard to get along with

We appreciate comments that are honest even when our firm isn't painted in the best of light. An area that we have identified needs significant improvement is our communication within the firm. We are actively working to create a work culture that communicates where our team members need to improve as well as highlight those milestones that show how team members are succeeding in their positions.
Laid back atmosphere, casual dress, low hours for a public accounting firm, fantastic PTO
Cons
Unprofessional, no feedback, no communication between team members, small cliquish firm, office politics, no camaraderie amongst team members, uncompetitive salaries, little variety
There are employees here that have advanced rapidly through the chain. The opportunity is there if you want it. There are 3 Partners. 2 run the place, 1 is there in name only. The ones that run it are great. They are easy to work with and they want you to learn and encourage self-learning.
Cons
There isn't much structure. It doesn't really work the way you would expect an accounting firm to work. I guess this can be a pro or a con. It can throw you for a loop if you interned somewhere else.
