Pros

1. Company events 2. Unused Ping Pong table

Cons

1. False values/policies: On one hand, they say "Fit your life within your work" and on the other hand, they are not willing to accommodate working from home for even a single day (even if involves necessary health situations). In modern times, all companies allow for some flexibility. Hence, it is extremely shocking that they don't even allow a single day, especially when someone absolutely needs it. Goes to show they don't care about their employees, and the company policies are nothing but empty words. 2. Double standards: Going back to working from home, while some of the higher-ups regularly work from home, the rest of the engineers are not allowed a single day to do so [even when they absolutely need it]. Again, this reflects the double standards of the company. 3. Poor salary: Their salary even for highly licensed professionals is much below the industry standards. Further, the pay bumps will be 2-4% max [which is incredibly deplorable]. 4. Not many structural projects: If you want to advance your career in structural engineering, please avoid this company at all costs. Tilts, storage buildings, warehouses, and data centers. All you will do is copy-paste and Excel sheets. 5. Poor structural standards: They do not even have a proficient library of structural details or templates to use which makes life so hard. Everyone just goes back to an old project to copy details. 6. No growth: Compared to other firms, your growth in the company will be very slow. Your career will hardly advance and you will be stuck in the same position.

Pros

They kept snacks around Give a decent bonus at the end of the year

Cons

They work for Google and Amazon (who are currently firing) Made a bunch of promises at hiring and didn't keep any of them Sat me on overhead around 30% of the time Fired me without warning or any sufficient reason and couldn't even send me the proper paperwork after 2 weeks Managers do not know how to transfer info to engineers at the start of projects and consistently leave out details or don't have a clue what they're talking about because they didn't look at the project before assigning it

Pros

Great work culture. Career development.

Cons

Compensation is not as per market standards. Management at our office set unrealistic business targets considering the economy.
