Pros
1. Company events 2. Unused Ping Pong table
Cons
1. False values/policies: On one hand, they say "Fit your life within your work" and on the other hand, they are not willing to accommodate working from home for even a single day (even if involves necessary health situations). In modern times, all companies allow for some flexibility. Hence, it is extremely shocking that they don't even allow a single day, especially when someone absolutely needs it. Goes to show they don't care about their employees, and the company policies are nothing but empty words. 2. Double standards: Going back to working from home, while some of the higher-ups regularly work from home, the rest of the engineers are not allowed a single day to do so [even when they absolutely need it]. Again, this reflects the double standards of the company. 3. Poor salary: Their salary even for highly licensed professionals is much below the industry standards. Further, the pay bumps will be 2-4% max [which is incredibly deplorable]. 4. Not many structural projects: If you want to advance your career in structural engineering, please avoid this company at all costs. Tilts, storage buildings, warehouses, and data centers. All you will do is copy-paste and Excel sheets. 5. Poor structural standards: They do not even have a proficient library of structural details or templates to use which makes life so hard. Everyone just goes back to an old project to copy details. 6. No growth: Compared to other firms, your growth in the company will be very slow. Your career will hardly advance and you will be stuck in the same position.
