Really not a place you want to be if you want to remain sane
Pros
You might meet a couple of good people, on a humanly level. Also, if you're someone who is looking to grind day in and day out, with really to purpose or end in sight, this is the place to be. These guys know how to make it look good.
Cons
- Work hours are terrible. Be prepared to work whenever needed, no matter where you are. Weekends, middle of the nights, weeks and months on end. Your personal life does not matter. - The management is messed up . They practically blindly trust one person and that person is centered only on making himself look good and gathering all the attention. So, anything that does not align with his view, will basically end up in trash. And you'll find yourself out on the curb just because he think your views are not the best in the world. Also, lets not talk about all the lies he will invent to make himself look good and take all the credit, and to make you look bad, if he wants to. And everyone will blindly believe him. - Personal note aside, analysts have their teams and work changed very frequently. Before someone can even understand the roles and the requirements of that role, they are put into another thing. And people are expected to hit the ground running with something they are doing for the first time in their life. - No training, really. They say training exists, and they hold these weird sessions which are all about how much the trainer knows and how good he is at speaking english. That is all. If you are looking for training that will add genuine value, please don't expect anything. - There is too much politics. it practically all about politics. - The management is rude. Sometimes to an inhuman level. There are at least 5 people I know who have left because of how arrogantly they were talked to that they couldn't take it. - Feedback is only ever going to be one way. As long as you are listening to them, you're good. You try to communicate something back and no one is going to listen. They will pretend that they're listening, but really they aren't. Their actions over time will tell you how much they are listening. Also, most of the feedback you'll get will be incredibly personal. Be prepared for them to do to the length of mocking how you walk (members of the actual management team doing it and in a serious manner, and not your co-analysts doing it as a fun thing or a joke). - Oh, any by the way, of the good reviews you see on this page, 3-4 of them are fake. They were put in because it became an HR problem in hiring new people. Really, who use the company's tagline "democratizing knowledge" in their review. Like seriously, who does that? Think hard and read these reviews carefully, you'll see how manufactured they are.
