Pros

I have worked at Besomebody for three years and each day, I’m reminded of what a great company this is. Our CEO, Kash Shaikh, sets a clear, purpose-driven vision and enables us to help build it, together, while embodying key values personally and professionally. I see that there are some negative reviews below which in no way reflect my experience working here. These reviews were not written by any employees from our team, they are from individuals who now work at other, existing companies after engaging with our jobs training platform. While it’s unfortunate that some graduates are not being well-managed at these companies, we are humbled and grateful that we were able to teach thousands of Americans new skills and connect them with full-time, sustainable jobs. Today, we have pivoted that same spirit of growth and empowerment back to our roots as a content platform. We work hard every day to reach millions of people with content that teaches and inspires them. I don’t believe that many people get to come to work knowing they’re making that kind of impact. I’m very lucky that I do.

Cons

No cons to share. I am blessed to be a part of this team.

Pros

You get paid once weekly

Cons

They convince you that you will be the face of kroger health, a "wellness ambassador", when in reality you will hand out free samples to customers that pass by and nothing more. 4000 dollars for classes with a registered dietitian where you will be taught nothing more than the difference between the top trending diets, if that. If you're looking for advancement or room to grow like they promised me look somewhere else.

Sorry to hear this feedback but completely understand it. All our Besomebody Path training programs had curriculums, skills requirements, and job descriptions based on agreements with our Employer Partners. Unfortunately, due to business needs, shifts in management, or changes in priorities - like in any job - some of those roles and responsibilities can change once you begin your work. In this program you mentioned, we know that the workplan changes of late have not been ideal. We would like to see Nutrition Technicians playing much more of a central role in educating and enabling people to live and eat healthier. We will continue to push for this to happen. In the meantime, we have discontinued this training program while we work with our healthcare partners to optimize the role. Another area we are shifting our strategy is Career Advancement. While we cannot control what companies do in terms of their succession and progression plans for each job, we are now making career mapping a compulsory part of any employer partnership. We want to not only help create the plan for the job we are training people for, but we also want to see the plan and principles for how/when they can advance to the next level. While we've pushed for this type of approach for years, we have fallen short of getting any concrete agreements in place with employers for career advancement. Now, we won't work with companies unless this is made clear. Lastly, it's important to note that we have never charged $4000 for our training program. Candidates can start for as little as $300, and we have payment plans and employer reimbursement programs (the latter are worked through your employer). We are proud to have enabled thousands of Americans to get jobs by creating a better, cheaper, and faster route to employment for careers in healthcare, hospitality, automotive, tech, and sales. Thank you for your honest feedback. And sorry you didn't have a great experience. We're hopeful some of the learnings (good and bad) you had will help you as you continue to grow. We wish you all the best on your journey.

Waste of money

Pros

You get a paycheck from Kroger

Cons

Tuition charged to be a sample person. Falsely advertised job posting. No certification from training. They lie to make you think it's a great training program and that not everyone can get into to get your money upfront for training. Don't waste your time if you're looking for growth or certification, because you won't get that from this position.
