Pros

I have worked at Besomebody for three years and each day, I’m reminded of what a great company this is. Our CEO, Kash Shaikh, sets a clear, purpose-driven vision and enables us to help build it, together, while embodying key values personally and professionally. I see that there are some negative reviews below which in no way reflect my experience working here. These reviews were not written by any employees from our team, they are from individuals who now work at other, existing companies after engaging with our jobs training platform. While it’s unfortunate that some graduates are not being well-managed at these companies, we are humbled and grateful that we were able to teach thousands of Americans new skills and connect them with full-time, sustainable jobs. Today, we have pivoted that same spirit of growth and empowerment back to our roots as a content platform. We work hard every day to reach millions of people with content that teaches and inspires them. I don’t believe that many people get to come to work knowing they’re making that kind of impact. I’m very lucky that I do.

Cons

No cons to share. I am blessed to be a part of this team.

Pros

During my time at Besomebody, I was coached, stretched, and challenged more than at any other job or workplace. The culture that Kash has built does not reward complacency or lowest common denominator work. Besomebody is about going all in, doing whatever it takes, and displaying the highest level of commitment to the work, the team, and your own values and behaviors. Kash gave me so many opportunities to grow and try new things. He believed in me even when a task was new or unfamiliar to me, and provided the coaching and direction necessary for me to be successful. I am so grateful for what I learned during my time at Besomebody. Not just the new technical and practical skills, but the ways of thinking, the work ethic, and the very real experience of being part of a team that is TRULY a team in the sense that they push each other, support each other, and rally around our inspiring leader to do great work.

Cons

If you're looking for predictability, a super set schedule, or are uncomfortable with direct and actionable feedback from teammates and leadership, Besomebody may not be the best cultural fit for you.

Thanks so much for all you do everyday for our partners, company, and team. There is nothing more important than company culture, and ours is truly something special. As you know, we are a small team but we interact with thousands of people around the world each month. My hope is that our culture and approach to leadership, coaching, and team-building soon moves beyond our core employees and positively influencers are customers, partners, and clients. Thanks again.

Pros

Besomebody is one of the best startup companies I worked for. The CEO is a true visionary and a great leader. I learnt so much in working at Besomebody that has helped me both in my professional and personal life. Not only have I become better at video productions, I believe I also have become a better person because of my association with besomebody and the people I worked with. Kash is a great teacher and he brings out the best in people. He taught us how to pay attention to details so the videos we produced would stand out and be admired by all. He also takes interest in people and helps them in their personal lives. He is always there for you when you need him. Unfortunately, I could not move with the company when they moved to Boston due to personal circumstances. However, because of what I learned at Besomebody , I am able to work independently and am excelling in my work. Kash provided me with good contacts that I have been able to call upon and get work.

Cons

I wish the company did not move out of Austin.
