Pros

It's very hard to get fired. It's also very easy to write a con list, which I'm considering to be a pro to fulfill the 20 word minimum.

Cons

I'm mainly writing this to point out that our HR team is writing reviews to try to offset how many horrid reviews we have. In reality, despite the amazing ideal of what the company could be, no employee likes working here. I'm sure you can pick out which ones were written by our HR team. That alone should be enough to turn anyone away. Just to be safe, here are some more reasons in order of severity: HR's main goal is to relentlessly inhibit employee growth and satisfaction. The CEO seems to be trying to destroy the company via his whimsy. Favoritism and inequity are rampant. Technology and systems are being used to cripple the company. Managers don't understand the concept of managing. Communication is entirely nonexistent.

Pros

Helping people access second opinions for diagnosis review and treatment. some people really care about wanting to help these people...and the process works.

Cons

Senoir management team is a narcisstic clique and all they care about is how they "appear to the outside world". Not convinced they truly care about the mission to help sick people. Top heavy with Sr VP's, VP's, Directors and managers with a high turnover. Work overload and unrealsitic work hours for the rest of the team. Miniscule end of year bonuses for the peons, but not for Sr managment. Poor morale, constant fear of losing your job, and unprofessional managers across the board. HR is terrible. Load of bull from the CEO and VPS' in emails and meetings voicing how much they care about the people and vision in the company. lots of inappropiate talking between top execs...you use people and are fake and harm and hurt people intentionbally.

Thank you for your honest comments. As with any organization that values the growth and success of its employees, hearing that a team member did not have a positive experience while employed at Best Doctors is disheartening, disappointing, and worth closely examining. In the last year, Best Doctors increased its nursing staff alone by 27%, working hard to bring on-board the best and brightest minds in this field. With tremendous growth comes a constant need to adjust to change. It is one of the growing pains that high-growth organizations must endure. Those environments can be rewarding and a place to thrive for some, but for others it can be a constant challenge. That is a fact that the Company takes very seriously when hiring, compensating, and developing our talent. Best Doctors is fueled by the incomparable contribution that its over 600 employees deliver everyday for members, clients, physicians, and so many more. Certainly, many of them will have very positive things to say about their experiences, but many of the Company’s current successes are a direct result of learning from past shortcomings, and this is no different. At a high-growth organization, analyzing current and former employee feedback is a vital step toward maintaining an environment that rewards high-performers while giving us all a reason to be invested in the mission here. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and opinions. They will not be ignored. -David Seligman, CEO

Pros

Provide useful services to members. Salary is competitive. Very little oversight from management.

Cons

Where to start. Anyone with any sense is either let go of leaves voluntarily. Seems as if all co-workers are a actively seeking other employment. The HR reviews on glass door are a running joke. Very rare for anyone to provide solutions within the company. Very little team work and there is a culture of blame and mistrust that is pervasive.
