Plenty of room for advacement, especially if have connections. Being Hispanic is also a huge plus. Being in shape is another huge plus. Tons of overtime if you want to make six figures.

Forced overtime for the detention employees.

Opportunity to learn how to have command presence and learn to deescalate with minimal tools

Cons

Way too much overtime, even on days off. Not enough opportunities to move around. Employees are still underpaid and overworked.

Okish pay, good benefits, some amazing coworkers

Cons

Lots of awful coworkers, it feels like leadership is out to get you, you will work overtime and lots of it often with no heads up until and hour or so before the end of your shift
