Cons
I feel compelled to share my concerns about the serious discrimination based on ethnicity within the company. Recently, when it was announced that a junior asian team member would be joining us, I was disheartened to witness senior managers, including HR, making inappropriate comments about the person's gender based on their name. It was astonishing to see employees placing bets on her gender and eagerly anticipating her first day just to satisfy their curiosity. This kind of behavior speaks volumes about the lack of cultural awareness in the workplace. As a predominantly white british organization, many employees seem to struggle to engage with the concept of diversity. The casual speculation during working hours about someone’s gender simply because their name sounds different is quite telling. As a white british employee, I find it embarrassing to be part of an environment where such attitudes are tolerated. Moreover, the CEO seems very disconnected from the staff, which doesn’t inspire much confidence that this issue will be addressed anytime soon. It’s hard to believe that any meaningful change will happen when leadership appears so out of touch. I genuinely hope the company takes the necessary steps to create a more inclusive atmosphere, but I’m not holding my breath.
Pros
It is a LIFESTYLE BUSINESS, where the lifestyles of the top leaders are funded by this business. Seem to have a history of not paying employees on time, delaying payments to contractors. Employees are incentivized with promotions or raises to write good reviews on Glassdoor or other similar platforms.
Cons
Pity that there is no option to give 0 stars. Most leaders here utterly lack competence, probably they won’t ever be hired by any other company thats why they are here. Leadership is shallow, vindictive, immature, lacks integrity, incompetent, petty, pretentious, lack empathy and blame others for their faults and play the victim card, never admitting their mistakes nor learning from them. They are good at BS and selling snake oil. Running their sales using their rolodex, friendships, family, network etc. They provide solutions that are sub-par, technical un-sound , outdated and un-sustainable for clients in the long run, but surprisingly still survive despite providing such solutions. Probably sued by employees for their violations multiple times. Financial acumen so bad to be on the brink of bankruptcy at least once and a very high possibility of them cooking books. They fire people regardless of being a high performant or star employee , a longterm loyal employee or even the closest of people, you can be fired next day or just fired because you did not agree with the leaders. Employee churn reminds of a revolving door. The highest rate of churn you will ever see across the globe or most industries. Almost 80 to 100% on an annual basis. They have a lay off cycle every 12 to 18 months. It is a joke that they claim to support other companies or offer services on their business strategy but they dont have their own house, culture, tech, processes, cybersecurity and finances in order. No wonder it could not scale up despite running for 15 years. The company is like a 15 year old baby. It has both small company problems and big company problems at the same time. Worst of both worlds. Operations(Business and Tech) there is a disaster and chaotic, it is basically a mess waiting to fail. The company lives year to year, project to project. If there are not enough projects, they start firing people. This is clearly evident in public records of the company in UK and Lithuania.
