Good hands on experience and seemingly good opportunities to secure a training contract. Some great colleagues

Cons

Minimum wage, pay docked by the minute if running late and no overtime pay, unclear payslips, director/solicitor relationship in the same department which feels inappropriate, no sick pay beyond statutory, same with maternity pay, uphill battle for work from home/flexibility working, MD speaks to employees as though they’re worthless

Cons

Expect to be shouted at, sworn at, called names, given dirty looks, have files slammed on your desk. An office full of nasty bullies. There is zero career progression but they tell you that in interview. Really poor pay. The job itself is very boring and tedious. Zero work benefits.
