Pros
Company provides you with good health insurance which is awesome. They also provide you with a cell phone if you want, however my phone was regularly shut off due to missed payments.
Cons
Owner is irrational, immature, and unintelligent. Repeatedly asked / demanded employees to do things that were both ethically and legally questionable or wrong. For example, owners asked one employee to lie about the date on invoices in order to receive payment for product that not only hadn’t been sent to client yet, but hadn’t even been made. If this isn’t illegal it is an extremely poor business practice. Hires Inexperienced and unqualified friends and family for the highest paying positions Due to lack of money Company is constantly unable to purchase raw materials, such as bottles, tea, sugar, which prevents the company from producing anything for weeks at a time. Owner regularly has to ask his mother for loans in order to make payroll and purchase necessary raw materials. Wasn’t paid on time on multiple occasions because the company had no money. Threatened to fire anyone who didn’t “volunteer” to work longer hours, weekends and holidays After owners lied to me several times I began taking screenshots of every email and slack message they sent just in case they ever tried to screw me over like I had seen done before to other employees. There is no work / personal life balance at all. Owners will call you anytime any day or night with no regard for your personal time. I worked countless 12 hour days and even more weekends and never once received extra pay even when it was promised. Owners are constantly out of town on vacation during the busiest times. When owner does show up to work he spends most of the day walking around the parking lot on his phone working on a different project creating an app. It can take hours before he is available for you to ask him any questions you may have and then more often than not he is unable to answer your question or help you in anyway. Extremely high employee turnover rate. Hardly anyone lasts more than a year there
