Amazingly incompetent Higher Management
Pros
Great colleagues, amazing HR, decent benefit
Cons
Deep rooted problem and one of the worst higher management that I've experienced throughout my career, no direction, lack of EQ from the CEO. Ad Hoc jobs interrupts daily task, which resort to higher management complaining, that the team is incompetent. Always complain it's employee as "Come in late, go home early" when it's not. Need to be extremely visible in the company to be considered that you actually did something, even if your tasks are clearly noticeable by everyone. Have to be friends with the C-levels to ensure visibility. Direct manager would not speak up during conversations regarding subordinate's work efforts. Questionable management from the marketing team. High turnover rate, so be prepared to constantly meet new friends. No proper KPI to gauge work performance, hence no raise given to employees. And as the saying goes from one of the C-levels "money is not important, you will realize as you grow older, as your TIME will come soon" whilst using the latest iPhone and Airpods. Startup lifestyle that doesn't make sense, one person with multitude of jobs, but zero appreciation. Company would not invest on it's employees but demands their employees to give their 101% The principle of kicking old employees out to allow new people to join, disregard their experience and effort poured into the company. No formal KPI from management and higher management, hence no way to measure competency, therefore result to lack of promotion and appreciation from the management.
