Toxic Work Culture!!!!

-Huge support to the Bio-economy sector. Great mission and vision -Good People

Cons

-No Career Advancement especially if your manager doesn't support or SEE you, no matter how hard you work. Therefore this is an OK place to start out but no room for growth. -Diversity isn't truly celebrated. It's all the talk for publicity but not the walk. Scary thing is diverse employees keep resigning every month. -Lack of respect to employees; employees are not treated equally and fairly. -As new employees, it's best to stay under the radar. Do our job and go home. -Management doesn't care about the employees. They pretend to care, only do what's best for the company brand and not the people. -Too many tasks with little resources and management never understands this. -HR/People and Culture dept needs a real makeover

Thank you for your support of our mission, vision and recognizing the good people who work here. Career advancement has been mentioned to us in our recent employee engagement survey as well and we have been making strides in this area. As a not for profit with a relatively flat organizational structure, it can be challenging. We encourage any current employee to come forward with any concerns of equity and respect, so that we can understand the concern and further investigate.

-Lack of diversity and Inclusion- they hire a number of "diverse employees" but do not create a sustainable and inclusive environment for them. -No openness with management -Micro-management -Lack of trust for employees -No career growth -Toxic culture

Higher management CEO likes to micromanage CEO fires and hires people at his own whim (he has proclaimed so to many people) CEO is aggressive (will bulldoze you during conversations) HR (bias, argumentative and not willing to take accountability of the things they have said) Arbitrary promotional framework Blatant favoritism Superficial and tokenistic diversity You will be penalized if you disagree with higher management on anything Penalized for taking days off No upward mobility
