The company has a non-conventional business model based on open innovation, then transition for a scientist from university or from a more classical business may be hard (it was my case and take me 6 months to perform well in this company after university).
There are many difficult projects at the same time, you need to multitask with a tight timeline on each project which may seem almost impossible for many peoples. This is exciting if you like challenges and teamwork but can be highly stressful if you don't.
Projects give you the opportunity to shine, thrive and have a real impact recognize by management, but you will not be able to hide if you fail. You will have to stand and work hard.
The company had grown a lot in 2016-17 from 4 to almost 20 employees, which had brought a lot of instability and turnover.
This growth painful time is now behind us, the company is consolidating the current employee pool and we are having a more stable work environment (reliable and competent colleagues, better workload distribution and better workflow).
