Pros

Good place to get some experience, but if you stay there for no longer than 3-4 months.

Cons

The environment in a workplace is just terrible, people are full of hate and they are just toxic. If you disagree with some opinions or want to improve something in the laboratory they are going to attack you and try to get rid of you as fast as they can. There is no respect to employees by your supervisors but they expect you going to respect them. If you just say something which they might not like you going to be instantly report to managers for your bad behaviour. The way how they choosing people to the role not base on experience or how people doing work but how much they like you and how much you going agree with them later on. Be careful because this place is a trap. Tones of work, people which already work there they won’t help you and always put as much work as they can on the new member staff. If you respect yourself and your time don’t waste it on this company. Also don’t expect going home at 5:00pm you always have to stay overtime almost everyday minimum by 1 hour. If you have plans or you need to go home they will use all power to force you to stay and work as much they want. Last review which have 5 stars is only way of trying to safe this place but I wouldn’t trust it because I work there for couple years and nothing changed at all. They doing meetings which bring nothing new and they pretends they listen to you but they don’t care. Work there costed me a lot of stress and bad experience.

Pros

The good aspect of this company is location. Easy to access. Company is trying to do something with the ridiculously low salary.

Cons

Management has their own favourites and god forbid you even look at them the wrong way. If the favourite person do something wrong there’s no harm to them but if the management doesn’t like you then you might get in trouble for something that you wouldn’t even do. Never asks for both sides of the story. The management is too scared to actually speak-up and do any improvements regards sample over-load in fact - supervisor and some colleagues would spent x amount of time in the office chatting when there’s work to be done. Keep on getting more and more samples even though the place is highly understaffed, all what they care about is money. Anything for extra £1. A lot of people had mental breakdown in here, many cried in the canteen. You’d feel mentally drained for the matter of fact how they make you stay ridiculous amount of overtime on daily basis, there’s no such thing as personal life unless you have some medical condition that makes it ok to not stay overtime or constantly call in sick and show up maybe 2/3 times a week.
