- An openly conservative Christian workplace (prayers at company meetings etc.) that makes no effort to accommodate people with different worldviews. Almost every employee attends the same church.
- The leadership is incredibly fickle and pursues radically different business directions on a whim. This is held as a virtue, not a liability ("Move fast and break things") but the result is a high stress work environment and low quality output.
- Lip service is paid to the idea that anyone at the company can contribute ideas. This is a lie. There are several people at the very top whose views are treated with any seriousness.
- If you are a designer or developer looking to do anything challenging or innovative, look elsewhere. All of Bipper's clients are looking for cheap sites delivered as quickly as possible.
- Compensation and benefits are not competitive at all. Pay is at the lower end of the scale, even for Athens, and there's some barebones healthcare available for individuals (not families) if you are full time.
- Does not value employees who aren't already personal friends or family of top leadership. I saw multiple people dismissed with zero notice or warning, and they cut hours and benefits whenever they want. Like everything else at Bipper, it's unstable.
- Middle management has had zero training in management and doesn't know what they're doing. Nobody knows how to do anything except threaten "formal write-ups" for missing a deadline, even if there's reasonable cause and good-faith effort on an employee's part. It's been a pretty hostile work environment for about a year.
