Pros

Simple work. Mindless tasks. Pretty lenient dress code

Cons

I would have given them 0.5 Stars however it was not possible. Extremely unprofessional owners. Very cheap. Have trouble communicating properly in English. Will not go out of their way to support their employees. Set up very high and unattainable daily personal targets. If the employee is unable to make above the sale average of the store 3 times in a row (reports are released biweekly) then they can either be written up or let go. This causes a lot of pressure on the employees and causes them to feel competitive and hostile toward other coworkers. Very uncomfortable environment. Management provides small incentives ($20) for the employee with the top sales, but there are a lot of qualifications that must be met for the employee to actually receive the award. No calling in sick unless you are able to find someone to cover your shift, and since each store has about 5 or 6 employees (with 3-4 people working each day) it is nearly impossible to find someone to cover your shift. Employees have to show up for shifts even when they are seriously ill. Horrible music is played at the store. This is the place for you if you don't mind listening to Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, and Justin Bieber on repeat all day everyday for years. The Christmas playlist is what nightmares are made of. Very outdated music. Also prepare to be repairing costume jewellery every few minutes as it is very cheap quality, made in china, and breaks very often. It is very embarrassing when it occurs in front of customers so make sure you have a lot of excuses on the ready.

Pros

-Lots of hours if you need them.

Cons

I would rate this company less than one star if I could. Horrible company to work for. I was hired seasonal and never got a day off...was working as much as management. They will overwork you. Work environment was unprofessional. Horrible training and management. Bad place to work if you have very little customer service experience as you will receive zero guidance. Head office sets extremely unrealistic targets which causes conflict on the sales floor. They also actively watch you from their cameras in the store which is creepy. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Never enjoyed any perks/ benefits either (only accessible after probation period).

Pros

Nothing note worthy accept that the eaton centre is a touristy location and you get to meet interesting people.

Cons

I got fired for not meeting their un realistic sales goals. And apparently the owners were watching me through their cameras (as if) and noticed I changed as a person... Ive never even met the owners. Very creepy and highly suspect of bs. All the other reviews are spot on especially with the merchandise pushing and their stupid coupons that we have to give to every customer even when they dont want it. Literally the worst job Ive ever had. No company culture and you really have to be a mindless zombie to work here.
