Pros
Great team dynamics: The only positive aspect of my experience was the supportive team I worked with. My colleagues were always willing to help each other, fostering a collaborative and friendly environment within the team.
Cons
Over-involvement in non-HR matters: The HR team tends to be excessively involved in areas that fall outside their core responsibilities, while there's minimal involvement in programs or initiatives that benefit employees directly. Invasive monitoring practices: There is an unsettling level of surveillance, with HR actively monitoring employee activities, including checking laptops and even overseeing employees in shared spaces like elevators. Micromanagement issues: The level of micromanagement is concerning, with employees feeling closely scrutinized in many aspects of their day-to-day work. Lack of follow-up on key responsibilities: Despite being deeply involved in various aspects of the business, HR falls short in critical areas like employee health, well-being programs, and benefit follow-ups, which seem to lack attention. Favoritism: There appears to be noticeable favoritism in how HR handles certain situations, leading to an unfair work environment for some employees. The ceiling lights were excessively bright, often causing glare on our laptop screens and even leading to eye strain. Despite multiple complaints from employees, we were not allowed to turn them off, which made little sense and affected our overall comfort
