Pros

You will work on very interesting projects, and the job is very dynamic. There is hardly any time to get bored. The employees are a very diverse group of people and you will learn a lot from all the different experiences and skillsets that you’ll come across. The atmosphere is cordial and informal. The company organises a trip every 1.5 years (unless Covid happens), where the whole office flies abroad to a five star resort for a couple of days. Salary and benefits, still not great, have been improved in the last year. Yearly raises are very modest but are part of the terms.

Cons

Among the many negative reviews, there are few positive ones claiming that the job can be stressful if you cannot handle several things at once. Don’t trust these reviews, they are fake. This job can be learnt in few months, and the learning curve goes flat after the first year and a half. Upper management is completely uninterested in growing company expertise. Analysts, who constitute 90% of the company, are seen as completely disposable and are almost encouraged to move on after a couple of years, to be replaced by newer and cheaper recruits. Most employees do end up leaving after one or two years, and the few unlucky ones that stay longer will be given no special recognition or appreciation anyway, nor will learn anything new. The founders of the company pride themselves on not believing in the use of an HR function. Analysts have no-one to turn to when issues arise. Managers are untouchable, and as long as invoices are paid, nobody is interested in making sure they actually do their job or treat their team members with respect. Their incompetence and negligence always goes unnoticed, or even worse, ignored. Management is promoted from within, meaning it is made of former clueless analysts who have no real experience in any other company, and have no idea of how to actually manage and motivate people. Most of the managers are there because they wouldn’t be able to make as much doing as little (or with as little experience and talent) anywhere else, and they are not really motivated to do better as they are absolutely never held accountable.

Pros

The employees there are of very high quality and unlike anywhere else. They do a great job encouraging creativity and you are always welcome to pitch in ideas doesn't matter your seniority.

Cons

HR wise, the company shows time after time disregard for its employees. Professionally wise it is an amazing place to work at, but because the salaries are low, and the conditions are even worse (sick days get paid only from third day off, no ten bis, etc.) plus there is always the feeling that the company doesn't consider its employees needs. Because of these people leave very fast (i'd say the average time of an employee is a year) and its a shame because they are always loosing very quality people.

Toxic environment, low pay

Business outlook

Pros

- Some of the lower management is not the worst. - The work itself is interesting.

Cons

- Upper management and the environment is toxic, abusive, gossipy and chauvinistic. Some of the upper managers have "would sleep with" list of the female employees. - Very low pay, no benefits - No work-life balance. The company is in constant state of emergency and you are constantly requested to work from home in addition to your normal hours.
