      Friendly staff for the most part. Early finish Friday

      If you're a natural salesman, you will do well. However, apply with caution. They were using many portals, including a British gas portal, which tell them when current companies' energy contracts expire. They would explicitly say that you are not allowed to tell the customer you have access to this portal. Therefore, they are working very much in the grey area at the least, and I expect that actually they are probably working illegally within their means and should they be looked into closer, I would doubt they will be allowed to keep running as a company.

We work to strict industry standards and regulations and adhere to all of our obligations. Some of our customers choose to provide permission for us to view the details of their supply on a central database. We ask for their express permission before doing so. Whilst obtaining quotes from a range of suppliers to ensure we are getting the most appropriate deal for tailored requirements we also confirm the information provided is correct to ensure accuracy, quality and a smooth transfer of supply. We deal with all of our customers with the utmost transparency and integrity. This is why as a company we are trusted by thousands of companies small and large with their energy portfolios.       A really important point to make firstly on here... If you genuinely are a current staff member please please have a chat with your line manger or hr if this is seriously the way you feel about the company and the flock! We do not want you to feel this way, and would love to have a chat with you about this in more detail. We only work a 35.25 hour working week at Black Sheep and rarely ask anyone to stay on beyond their working hours, so yes if you are late the system will record this and your pay deducted accordingly. This is all explained upfront in our staff handbook. We are a voluntary Real Living Wage employer, this means that everyone earns above not only the NMW but a Real Living Wage as calculated by the Living Wage Foundation. Commission is uncapped for the role you describe and the starting basic is generous and benchmarked against a competitive market, it is over and above the Living Wage commitment. Your financial wellbeing is important to us, if you are struggling financially please remember the EAP can confidentially advise you on range of financial matters. We provided free refreshments to our staff so that you can spend your cash on something more exciting then a slice of cheese and ham! This review also seems to be slightly outdated as anyone reading should be aware we currently only offer drinks due to strict hygiene measures in place since March 20 due to COVID-19.

      Very poor training and support More gullible employees may believe they are helping people, but are in fact ripping people off Employees discouraged from calling it cold calling people which in fact it is A script based sales-ish type role involving rudeness and dishonesty, sometimes flat out lying Commission made to look impressive when is actually rather poor and unattainable Minimum wage High pressure environment, with ever-escalating targets (read: minimum expectations) Owner is a very rude and arrogant individual Involves data-mining for companies details against their wishes Prepare to recieve a hell of a lot of anger directed your way from people rung Will fire the majority of staff in a given intake, very high staff turnover

      Although I can only disagree with a majority of your comments it is appreciated that you have taken the time to provide feedback. I would sincerely be happy to answer any specific concerns you may have had about us as employers; I know we are a great deal better than your perception suggests but that doesn't diminish my sense of regret.
