Pros

A very well respected and valuable solution for partners and customers. Strong leadership team that encourages collaboration, open to ideas and willingness to support There is a great group of people to work with, across all departments and levels that are readily available to help. A nice office and working space in our headquarters. Overall, a company that respects their employees and appreciates the growth in new markets such as ANZ, APAC and EMEA. A truly worldly group of individuals and are supportive of the scaling efforts within and outside the US.

Cons

You have to be a self-starter, comfortable with autonomy - everyone has a part to play and not a 'hand-holding' type of organisation (not a con, but setting expectations for a company in their scale-up and expansion phase)

Thank you for taking the time to share this thoughtful review, and for the impact you’ve already made! We’re really glad to hear that the mission, the people, and the leadership culture are resonating. Building a product that partners and customers truly value is something we’re proud of, and it only works because of the collaboration and trust across teams that you called out. The fact that this extends across regions, ANZ, APAC, EMEA, and the U.S. matters a lot to us as we scale. Your point about autonomy is an important one, and we appreciate you framing it honestly. We are very much a self‑starter environment, and setting that expectation clearly, especially as we grow, is critical. We’ll keep working to balance autonomy with clarity so people have the context they need to succeed without unnecessary friction. The advice you shared for leadership is spot on. Targeted, repeatable sales enablement, clearer communication, and consistent check‑ins are all areas we’re actively investing in as part of our scaling efforts. Feedback like this helps us focus on what will make the biggest difference for our teams. Thanks again for being part of the journey and for helping us continue to build a company that supports growth, ownership, and doing meaningful work together.

Pros

Some awesome people work there! They are just treated awful and have their souls sucked by leadership. People are passionate about the mission and their work until they devolve from the constant stress.

Cons

- "Leaders" constantly apologize for their poor behavior (if you are lucky). There are threats, bullying, and finger-pointing. - You can have ideas but good luck implementing them. Changing things is almost impossible and people are not allowed to do their job without severe micromanagement. - No standards or best practices - it's the CEO's way or no way. - Toxic masculinity culture, they have a completely unprofessional bro culture that is worse than the high school gym room. Memorable Quotes: "This is the biggest mistake of my professional career" "It's like a car that barely runs and has every engine light on" "I didn't get hired to do that..." "I got a promotion - no pay increase, I'm not sure what my new title is..."

Terrible place to work…

Pros

Some really smart people work at Blackpoint and the Blackpoint product and SOC were amazing (unfortunately dwindling as good talent are leaving and the product is losing its edge)

Cons

This was hands down the worst place I have ever worked at. Although there are some very smart and talented people that work at BP, there are some totally useless people that work there. Everyone is always afraid they are going to lose their job. If you have an opinion that differs from the CEO/Founder you’ll be fired or he will make your life miserable by having his minions gang up on you and you essentially end up leaving…effectively managing you out of the company. I’ve heard of a lot of shady stuff going on behind the scene, including some seriously inappropriate behavior happening at offsites. A lot of newer leadership was brought in and everyone was excited for some positive change, but it never really happened and it just caused more drama and chaos. CEO and other c-levels are constantly dictating what they think your job function or your team function should be, when clearly it is not what you would be doing at any other company. The CEO fired the entire RevOps team because the team was built and hired by the CRO he hired who then disagreed with him and was subsequently fired…and then the CEO decided to axe nearly every single person that the CRO hired….but then just a few months later a new CRO gets hired only to hire a new RevOps team. Less than a year ago BP had a score of 3.8 and not they have a score of 2.7 on Glassdoor….this should be a HUGE red flag for anyone considering a job at BP. Customer’s are constantly being billed incorrectly and finance is having to manually credit the customer. Customers are constantly complaining that their device commitments are increasing and having to maintain their devices so that they don’t get charged with an overage. If you are in sales, good luck! MSP customers are dropping like flies and if you don’t meet your quota you’ll be axed even though the reason why customers are leaving are completely out of your control. If you are a CSM, you will NOT be doing any true CS work…you are glorified administrative assistant to the account management team. If you are in technical support, your talent is wasted as your doing a lot of low level busy work. If you are in billing & finance you are constantly having to do manual work to ensure customers are credited and billed properly. If you are in Product Marketing, you definitely aren’t doing true product marketing work. A lot of people who don’t belong in their roles either because they are way to talented and their talent is wasted there because they aren’t doing what aligns with industry standards of what your job function should be or you are in a role where you are not qualified to do the work at all.
