Pros

Free tea and coffee, some nice agents. -fuddle was nice -clean facilities

-Management is horrendous both in the week and weekend. -SO MUCH BULLYING FROM MANAGEMENT, often shaming people in front of the whole office -NEPOTISM IS RIFE -Managers have their favourites, based on nothing other than who they can gossip with. Ones performance is often overlooked, especially with regards to progression. -NO PROGRESSION UNLESS YOU ARE CLOSE TO MANAGEMENT -HR could not be more bias if it tried. Many people would complain about these issues and it would be brushed under the rug -SEXISM can be heard, with one manager stating that he “didnt agree with women choosing career progression over homemaking.” -Nastiness about employees was often excused as jokes even if it was behind your back -Lack of confidentiality with personal matters. Often if someone is off, the whole office will know why. Any grievances or any matters that should be kept private end up known by everyone. -MANY PEOPLE JUST WALK OUT AND NEVER COME BACK -Discrimination was obvious, with certain groups of people dismissed based on “attitude” when none appeared to be present

We do take all matters very seriously - as you are a current employee I would encourage you to come forward to discuss these concerns in more detail in order for this to be investigated and appropriate action taken. Blinds2go pride ourselves on continuous improvement, we have worked hard to open up opportunities for all employees including the 'Your Story' initiative which saw 11 agents promoted to other roles within the Customer Services Department. More recently we have created an Audit, Real Time and Sales Teams which has given opportunities to 15 agents to develop within the business along with secondments opportunities in other departments.

Pros

Perkbox Lockers to keep valuables safe

Cons

Unrealistic expectations of staff, leaving you feeling stressed out and worried. Toxic mental place to work at as they continuously badger you if you do not reach their stats (10 calls per hour as well as emails). Managers do not take ownership of complaints and pass around so you are left to deal with it. Will take advantage of staff in regards to pay.

Producing more leaders

Pros

Focusing primarily on the last year there has been an uplift in management with the aim to keep on producing more leaders. Employees have been able to progress into new roles and reap further rewards and the efficiency of the cs department on a whole has bettered as new areas of work have developed and more accountability taken. Client response times are in the hours rather than days with most clients receiving responses almost immediately, client satisfaction has surged and workloads being more manageable.
