      Serious durability problems kept hidden from investors to drive up stock price

      Pros

      New technology with a lot of hype in power generation

      Cons

      Over hyped technology with serious quality and reliability problems kept hidden from investors and customers to drive up stock price. Cost cutting to improve margins is impacting durability of product. Top management made up mostly Indian hindu brahmins including CEO, COO, CCO and many others who work as a mafia to run the company. Management style is high powered commando style with orders and edicts that come from the top and must be executed immediately without question or face retaliation. The company culture and org structure is a disaster with employee surveys showing 100% dissatisfaction with leadership, specifically COO. Many factory workers evaluating collective bargaining to improve working conditions and pay.

      Strong mission, great people, and high-impact work

      Pros

      A mature start up feel. No two days are the same, lots of interesting projects to work on and given the opportunity to have an impact The people are a highlight. Teams are collaborative, driven, and full of smart individuals who are genuinely invested in what they’re building. There’s a strong sense of ownership, and you’re given the opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way regardless of level.

      Cons

      There really are not any major cons so far. It is 5 days in office. And whilst I am local and enjoy coming in a little flexibility would be nice. That said there's a great gym, good restaurant and free EV charging so I like being here!
