Pros

Caring and compassionate staff who generally care about the residents and clients, and generally stick through the bad and terrible decisions made by management. Plenty opportunity to grow your career, if you are an RN. FBT benefits Very flexible roster.

Cons

-Extreme cost cutting EG. they will change your starting times to purposely avoid paying overtime, do everything they can not train you and sign you off on it for legal reasons or understaff on purpose. -Horrible - absolutely horrible and bizarre care documentation system called RMS, we are forced to use this piece of software that absolutely sucks, terrible GUI, extremely buggy and where it takes 5 seconds on paper - it takes at least 5 minutes on RMS. -They like cramming 12 hours of work in a 8hr day and will not pay you overtime for the pleasure. -Implement changes way too fast and too often, usually for inane or irrational reasons, that can be fixed with a good care documentation system or a bit more indepth knowledge of the current system. Often disrupting the work flow processes on Nursing staff, which is dangerous to our residents. - High levels of management turnover and each manager that comes and goes have their own idealogue to terrorize staff with.

Pros

Working with great people. Can’t speak more highly of those who deliver the actual care- the care was certainly there!

Cons

Management response to government reforms and business decisions that impact how care is delivered make work much more difficult with much less support for staff. Morale is low. Forgot that work can be enjoyable until I was out of there.

Pros

The work you do can have a real impact on real people's lives.

Cons

Unless you're frontline staff, there's limited space for career opportunities. The company has kilometres of red tape preventing innovation.
