Pros

VMware resells their product -- impressive when you consider that VMware has around 1200 Technology Alliance Partners to choose from to have on their price list.

Cons

Abnormally deep discounts via VMware resale relationship leaves little revenue for Blue Medora. The company reduced headcount in May 2018 so that it might become financially healthier in 2 - 3 years (2020 - 2021), The company has Zero Patents and Patent Applications at US PTO. Headquartered in Grand Rapids Michigan. Willing recipient of undesirable assets that VMware itself can't make money on. $22.45MM in venture capital received from 2013 to 2017 with little to no tangible results.

Pros

Real world problems and challenges to tackle. Rigorous coding stack that we used throughout all the projects I worked on with my time at Blue Medora.

Cons

There was times when I wish I could have worked on a different project because of the lack of interest in what I was working on at them time.

Pros

- Mid-High Salaries - Flexible hours - Great Health Insurance by today's standard - Experienced and loyal CEO - Nice office layout (no old school cubicles) - Company events - Management has been very generous with allowing me to deal with family and health issues during work time. I am very grateful for this.

Cons

- Most leadership members are super micromanagers. I am not sure where this came from. It has not always been this way. - Questionable middle management promotions - 9-5 expected in office with very little opportunity to work remotely - Rapidly becoming a corporate environment and losing the startup feeling -Office building itself has issues with temperature control, noise and bathroom access (not enough bathrooms for such a large group). - Clear communication among managers is fading quickly. I often get one answer to a question. Hours later, the answer will completely change.
