Pros

Fun place like most coffee shops, most employees were cool, management cool at first.

Cons

Management pics favorites. People clearly broke dress code and long-time employees overslept multiple times and showed up 45 minutes late, didn't seem to get in trouble, but they would quiet fire someone just for stupid social mistakes. That's me. I made stupid social mistakes and got nervous when the manager was working because she watched and criticized your every move. Felt judged always. I was a great employee when she wasn't watching me. Even when she was I tried my darndest. They quiet fire me instead of having the decency to be honest and say it's not a good fit. Started scheduling me only one day a week even though I wanted to work at least 4. Like I said, though, my biggest mistakes were social. I busted my butt taking out trash, filling the ice, getting the hang of order -taking drink-making. They thought it was funny I took a notebook with me all around to write down everything I was trying to learn, and do it right. While OGs would be on their phones. It's chaos in there. Everyone has to switch jobs the whole time, nothing is automated for order taking it's all done on white boards. I got in trouble for being on the register too much but the other baristas wanted me to be there while they made the drinks. They liked it that way but there was such a break down in information being said by baristas who had been there a long time and what actual management was saying. Management never appreciated what I was doing right, but just always criticized. When I made mistakes I realized and changed and admitted it. They did not. No wifi haha.
