Pros

This is a placeholder so I can get to 10 words

Cons

Company is run by two anti-union Andrew Yang wannabes who concern themselves more with turning a profit and appropriating international cuisine than supporting their worker's mental and physical wellbeing. Tips are close to nothing and there is a clear lack of interminority representation in retail promotion trends Cofounders rely so heavily on the positive reinforcement they get from their consumer base that they literally don't care about issues pressing company culture

Cons

A core value that Boba Guys often tries to express and cannot express enough of is "Next Level Quality". We often try to make sure drinks are being served in a timely manner, recognize and make personal connections with our guests, and make sure the drinks are being made properly. If a guest is not satisfied with their order, we offer to remake, adjust, or give them something else on the house to ensure they enjoy their stay. Behind the scenes when it comes to teamwork and relationships between the stores and the higher-ups, it is not dare I say "next level quality." Employees have to be transparent to their managers when they have issues going on that may affect their performance or to just communicate in general. The problem is that it is difficult to be transparent because managers and higher-ups do not deliver or support their baristas. Instead, they like to talk behind their backs. They do not listen to their bobaristas or shift leads when it comes to dealing with bad days or how to improve team performance. It is all about the technical performance, not enough of the morality of the team. Often times, I would here that store A is being so slow and they cannot pick up the pace. Instead, the management should ask the team why they are struggling and how can they help the store, not criticize them and expect them to do better. When there are issues with bobaristas, all I hear is gossip about bobarista A, gossip about bobarista B and C, etc. They will find a reason to fire someone without being transparent themselves. I arrived at Boba Guys with great impressions to escape my first job from toxicity and drama. At the same time, I lost the hopes and sparks I once received in the beginning of my journey here. I left the company because it was too toxic for me. I would often hear my friends being talked about like gossip and drama as if we are in high school. If there is a problem, be straight about it, stop trying to drag it out and cause problems with everyone. It's really not mature.
