Pros

Everyone is super young at the company, but it tends to feel like an aggressive sorority at times rather than an actual work environment. Because of such regular turnover issues, they started to implement a rewards program with fun activities/perks so that was nice. It can be a good "starter" job to get good at select tasks, but unless you enjoy dialing endless number 8 hours a day I recommend passing. Your function is more equivalent to a call operator than an actual PR professional.

Cons

Can be incredibly mean and sometimes degrading at times. If they don't like how you're doing, they are more likely to pull you in a room and make you cry than give constructive feedback. The pay is also incredibly low, even for a starter job. Fun fact: you will also have to send draft emails for AN ENTIRE YEAR before they let you send your own. At a certain point that just hinders your growth and independence.

Pros

Bolt has an excellent culture. The company offers rewards for great work that the whole team can enjoy together at the end of each quarter. In addition, the clients and staff are fun, which makes working here that much more enjoyable. The salaries are competitive and time off policies are very generous, including holidays. I've worked here for almost five years and love it!

Cons

If you aren't used to a fast-paced work environment this probably is not the place for you. We thrive on working efficiently together as a team. For me personally, fast-paced work life is a pro, but for some it can be a con. If you aren't a team player, this also probably isn't the place for you.

Pros

This is a passionate, fun, thoughtful group of people working to really make a difference for clients of all sizes. It's a great environment and culture with a true dedication to excellence. I'm proud to work here!

Cons

If you're used to a corporate environment, this may not be the place for you. This is a small business and we all help on everything - whether supply runs or strategy meeting. I see that as a HUGE benefit - no glass ceilings or red tape.
