Pros

Everyone is super young at the company, but it tends to feel like an aggressive sorority at times rather than an actual work environment. Because of such regular turnover issues, they started to implement a rewards program with fun activities/perks so that was nice. It can be a good "starter" job to get good at select tasks, but unless you enjoy dialing endless number 8 hours a day I recommend passing. Your function is more equivalent to a call operator than an actual PR professional.

Cons

Can be incredibly mean and sometimes degrading at times. If they don't like how you're doing, they are more likely to pull you in a room and make you cry than give constructive feedback. The pay is also incredibly low, even for a starter job. Fun fact: you will also have to send draft emails for AN ENTIRE YEAR before they let you send your own. At a certain point that just hinders your growth and independence.

Pros

I have worked with several agencies on the junior side and I can honestly say this is the best agency team I’ve ever been a part of. Leadership is amazing, always available for questions and I love mentoring our more junior people. I feel really lucky to have found Bolt.

Cons

Can at times be spread thin, but there are times too where my load is lighter. That’s just agency life.
