Pros

Staff Way your treated Work to life balance Salary Book my garage is great. You are left to do your job your never micro managed and the team is amazing. You can speak your opinion regardless of if it’s positive or not and be respected for it, and trust me I do. I am a Harte on sleeve person. It took me x2 month to know I was with a good company, while still under probation sadly my wife not expected lost her father. So of course the day it happened I called my managers to say I won’t be in. There was none of this you are only allowed so many days off, or remember your on probation you need to perform. It was “ your family comes first take what ever time you need to support your wife” within 2 days my wife got sent flowers also from book my garage staff. Her company she had over 14 years of service with didn’t send any! That is how quickly I took to loving my company I work for. Now at book my garage it does not stand still, it’s still a young business so often there may be a new product or a new idea we will do. This can be a bit scary. But! That is because we are learning we don’t believe first time is perfection. It’s about always ensuring you’re getting to perfection. So you have to be ready for changes. This is to ensure we are being the best we can. So for some it’s alarming. For anyone with hunger and an understanding in sales, account management or marketing understands it’s how you get success for you and your clients. I could more than confidently ring up one of the directors and say your new product is not good it won’t work. Would I be taken seriously that is how close we all are as a company. Everyone’s opinions count and are valid. Where else could you tell a director or founder of a company with confidence you disagree? You get more respect because they then see the passion you have also for BMG. I love my manager my colleagues. I am paid well, treated so fairly it’s lovely. I go to sleep every night not stressed my bills are paid and my family are financially looked after. Hard to come by for many sadly.

Cons

Nice to have a little more holiday allowance We can rush out new ideas or process before a test. But the industry we are in it is trial and learn no other way. So not a CON as such but not suited to everyone

Pros

BMG is a fantasic platform - of which I had used before I worked for the company. The business itself is forward thinking, and growing fast both with client base, and market/mind share. The people here are incredible, both those working full time in the office and those out in the field/remote. As much as it is cliché, there is a family atmosphere to the team here and my time here has been a genuine pleasure. Earning potential as an SDR has been decent, although career progression is small.

Cons

Although BMG is a fairly well established business, it has the vibe of a startup. Now this isn't inherently negative, but any employee joining the company needs to bear this in mind, and understand that processes/changes can be reactive rather than proactive. Those that are up for the challenge & happy with working for a rapidly growing business, will thrive at BMG!
