The management of the company is overall disorganised, ineffective and at times unpleasant to work with. Staff are removed from shifts and then not offered new ones for no reason. Some took exam leave, which was approved and then they were never offered a shift again. Also, there were periods where we did not have a manager (once for around 4 months) and the running of the centre was left to the tutors, with no training. This, along with the lack of communication that head office has with staff and the excessive workload, makes it an unpleasant work environment. Further to this, employees were instructed to leave positive reviews on this website and google reviews for the company, so many of the the reviews posted do not reflect the true opinions of employees.

I would put 0 stars if possible. The management is poor and the operation of the head office is even worse. I requested a pay rise 3 times considering the fact that I was being paid below minimum wage, and heard no response whatsoever. If you are looking to apply as a tutor, look elsewhere as your time as a tutor will not be valued at Boost "Education". The company seem to be more interested in profiteering as opposed to providing a quality service of tutors alongside decent pay.
